The , celebrating the past year in music, honored some of the on Monday night in Las Vegas.

The ceremony, which is the largest fan-voted award show, was hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who also performed the opening dance number.  also gave a performance before , given to "an artist whose music has had undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry," according to the AMAs.
